Well, it lets you sync up your Google Calendar and Address Book with your native on-device functions, so you’ll always have everything backed-up in the cloud. This latest update now includes GMail proper, so you won’t have to ping Google’s servers every once in awhile to check your e-mail, it’ll just come to you.
