Drink a lot of wine? Or perhaps you simply enjoy a glass of Shiraz every once and awhile to relax and unwind with? Whatever the case, if you have a soft spot for the grape, there’s a new BlackBerry app out that you may fall in love with. Titled ‘R-Vintage Lookup’, this wine enthusiasts app allows you to find vintages that were the best for a country, region and more… all via a quick and easy interface. This app is ideal to help you pick the perfect bottle when out for dinner (let’s face it, many places don’t have a sommelier handy!), or to purchase the right vintage while out at the wine store. There’s also a handy ‘Drink/Hold’ feature contributed by regional experts, offering advice on different wines, and offering advice on wether to drink or hold it for a later date. Of course, you can also add your own comments, give a thumbs up or thumbs down on a particular selection, and a whole lot more.

You can check out R-Vintage Lookup in App World ($2.99). OR, if you’d rather try before you buy, hit up the free trial at R-Grapevine.com.
