While we’ve seen the envelope being pushed on adult content in officially sponsored app stores like the Android Market and iTunes, there’s really been no proper home for those raunchy apps so cruelly cast out into the cold. Fret not, lascivious reader, MiKandy is hoping to change that with their own Adult App Store for Android. I’ve checked it out for strictly editorial purposes (honest), and there’s nothing loaded in there yet, but it looks like things are still largely under construction. Adults apps are bound to be a big market, and MiKandi is promising other platforms are coming soon to capitalize on that demand. If manufacturers are too bashful to enable developers in the adult field, companies like MiKandi stand to quickly make friends with devs who have been previously scorned and corner the niche very early on. Although they’re expectedly a little more loose with their submission requirements, MiKandi still needs to make sure all of the adult content on there store is legal, but otherwise “the sky is the limit”.
