
The Federal Trade Commission will review Google’s recent $750 million acquisition of AdMob, according to The Wall Street Journal.
Though there are no signs that FTC has found any potential objections to the acquisition, it’s their job to check whether Google’s move impedes on anti-trust laws.
Personally I don’t see any problems involved in the acquisition of AdMob. Sure, they are the leading mobile marketing company, but since they’re targeting smartphone users only (it’s a small market), no objections should be made. Then again, I’m not a lawyer… 😉
