If you see a word in blue in your web browser you can click on it and it will usually bring you to a location with more detail. Be careful however, Wikipedia is up there with cocaine in terms of addiction. Nokia wants to bring that same experience to the real world with Point&Find. In Europe people send a text message to a special number to get more information, in Asia the population uses QR codes on a daily basis, Nokia is trying radically different with visual search.
Remember that patent they applied for a few months ago for a semantic visual search engine?
The service is expected to launch in 2008. Whether it works or not, that is another thing all together.
