Another reason to jailbreak your iPhone/iPod Touch is called iRemix and it’s an application that makes the built-in iPod app much better. Here’s what you get:
- Quick addition of a song/podcast, artist or playlist to Favorites.
- Tap and hold on a song or artist shows a menu for adding the item to Favorites or On the Go playlist.
- Search for songs.
- Bookmark a particular point within a song or a podcast.
- Artist info – click on the “i” to fetch content from the web — including artist info, album info, music videos and lyrics.
In a nutshell, iRemix is a must have app. As a matter of fact, I would argue Apple should acquire the company behind the app to make the iPod app even better… iRemix is available in the jailbreak Cydia app store for $4.99. A free 5-day trial is also available.
