Emblaze signs deal with Sharp and ACCESS to create revolutionary mobile device

Emblaze Sharp ACCESS signed up to create new revolutionary mobile deviceRight, it’s easy to say that you’ll be bringing a “revolutionary” device to market when you’ve barely even hit the drawing board. Anyone can say that their device is all that and a bag of chips (anyone remember Gizmondo?), but the real test will come when this trio actually launches their device.

Japanese electronics giant Sharp and software developer ACCESS (the guys that brought us the Palm OS) are on board with Israeli company Emblaze to create a device that will “revolutionize mobile communication.” Which reminds us of another device that was promised to revolutionize transportation (Segway, anyone?). Emblaze CEO, Guy Bernstein, says, “The device represents one of the most ambitious projects in the high-tech mobile industry.”

This new device had better be more than just a hodge-podge of non-intuitive features stuffed into an uninspired form-factor. We’ll just have to wait and see.
