The mobile payments solution provider Obopay has announced partnership with Yodlee to allow its customers to link their existing bank account to Obopay so they can move money between their bank account and Obopay more quickly and easily than ever.

ObopayYodlee’s secure Account Verification has already been proven and is currently used at more than 650 financial institutions that carry more than 80% of American account volume. By partnering with Yoodle, Obopay users will be able to access their existing accounts conveniently through their mobile phones in a matter of seconds, and immediately start sending money between their Obopay and their existing bank account.

Obopay’s main idea was to make an alternative to deposit verification, and make the system works better for users. However, if users don’t have an online bank account or for some reason don’t want to provide their online credentials, deposit authentication will still be used…

To wrap this up. By thanks to Yodlee, Obopay is one step closer to bring the mobile payments to the mass market. Interesting times are ahead of us, stay tuned as we’ll keep reporting…
