USA Today released an updated version of its iPad app. There are two major improvements included:
- Popular Life section crossword puzzle – which now you can solve with nothing but your fingers.
- Money section financial tools for managing portfolios and stock quote lookups.
In addition, the media company also announced new third quarter advertising partners – Barnes & Noble, Capital One, Coca-Cola and Jeep. And in case you wonder, rich media advertising for the USA Today app is powered by Gannett’s PointRoll subsidiary.
