Until now, Remember The Milk for the iPhone/iPod Touch was a “feature” available for the Pro users, only. Not any more as folks behind the wildly popular task management service decided to make their iPhone app available to the general public as well.

Pro users still benefit from some special features like on-demand and automatic syncing (unlimited syncing), while those not paying for the service are limited to once-a-day syncing with their (basic) RTM account. Moreover, push notifications are not available for non-Pro users.

In other words, you can now download Remember The Milk app and use it as much as you want without having to pay a dime. Once you get used to the service/application, RTM folks hope you’ll “go Pro” and pay them $24.99 per year to get tasks pushed to your screen and to be able to sync as much as you want. You can subscribe to the service right from within the app, and in addition to the yearly plan, there’s now a 1-month option that costs $2.99…
