Verizon rolling out unlimited calling circle plans for enterprise customers

Verizon logoWith the acquisition of Alltel, it looks like Verizon is set to bring the same My Circle goodness to its business users. Verizon is rolling out its own free-calling circle plan, of sorts, for subscribers of the No. 2 US wireless carrier’s Verizon Freedom for Business unlimited long-distance plan.

A penny shy of $5 every month will net business users the ability to have unlimited conversations with up to 5 people. But, here’s the catch. Those 5 phone numbers to which Verizon customers can talk all they want have to be wirelines, which we suppose is just honky-dory for enterprise subscribers that do a lot of jabbering for official business. How the plan will translate (if at all) for Verizon’s non-enterprise customers is still unclear.
