Open innovation and Nokia Philosophy, Dr. Bob Iannucci, CTO of Nokia and Head of Nokia Research Center. from DevilsRejection on Vimeo.

If you’ve seen Bob talk before you know his famous “I’ve seen this movie before” story that he tells about how any industry starts as one giant cluster fuck, slowly the number of players diminishes, standards occur and then value moves towards total solutions, services and support. Chances are you’ve never heard this guy speak since he only assumed the role of CTO on the first day of 2008. For the rest of you however, I can promise you you’re going to have time to kill (42 minutes) on Sunday. Bookmark this page and come back to it, you will not regret it, trust me, television isn’t really that entertaining nor educational.

One more thing, Bob blogs at http://cto.nokia.com/
