BrickBreaker on the BlackBerry Storm

I can hear you saying… ‘Yeah, the BlackBerry Storm looks pretty cool… but is BrickBreaker still on the new device?’ I can thankfully calm your fears and let you know that yes, indeed, BrickBreaker is making a return to the BlackBerry yet again on the BlackBerry Storm.

BrickBreaker is a ‘standard’ game built-in to all Berry devices. Come to think of it, I’d be a little shocked if BrickBreaker didn’t come pre-installed on the Storm… and thankfully for us, Kevin over at CrackBerry has given us some video evidence as proof. Looks like the gameplay is smooth and silky. Get your ‘dragging finger’ ready to post up some high scores!

You know, it’s interesting. When I talk to people that own a BlackBerry and ask them about BrickBreaker, it’s almost always a 50/50 split. People either love it or they think the game is useless. I’m hoping the new version on the Storm is good enough to convince some of the nay-sayers that the game is good. I prefer the classic game of Arkanoid myself, but that’s just me.
