The already tough Motorola Defy+ is now even tougher thanks to Moto’s co-operation with JCB. The global construction, demolition and agricultural equipment company added an extra layer of “armor” (a case actually) around the phone for this limited edition device to improve its shock resistance capabilities. As a result, those who grab the Moto-JCB device will get a 2-year extended warranty.

However, there are no changes under the hood. Few new apps come included, such as Therodolite, Spirit Level, Torch, Decibel Reader and a B&Q store locator. All this will come wrapped-up in an exclusive retail package and available for purchase on December 6th through Clove. The price, you ask? It’s 219 GBP, which doesn’t sound that much…

Again, the Motorola Defy+ comes with a 3.7-inch 480×854 pixels capacitive touchscreen, single-core 1GHz processor, 5-megapixel camera with LED flash and auto-focus, HSPA and Wi-Fi connectivity, GPS, Bluetooth, and a microSD memory card slot.
