Canadian Samsung Galaxy S III Jelly Bean update rollout starts on December 3rd

Samsung Canada turned to Twitter to spread the good news, saying that the Jelly Bean update for Galaxy S III will start rolling out on December 3rd. That, however, doesn’t mean you’ll get it on that date – it’s just that the rollout starts then and will most likely last for few weeks to cover all the users (while keeping servers in operation).

We don’t know which carrier will be the first to get the new version of Android, but we do know the line will be huge since all of them [carriers] are offering Sammy’s superphone, including Rogers, Bell, TELUS, Virgin, SaskTel, WIND, Mobilicity, Videotron, with Koodo and MTS joining the party soon.

But that’s not all as Samsung also said that we should expect “more Jelly Bean announcements soon.” I would have to say they’re talking/thinking about other popular models like the Galaxy Note, Galaxy S II and the Galaxy S IIx. We’ll let you know when we hear something new on that…
