HTC has recently announced that its Touch Cruise is coming to the Middle East this month. The Windows Mobile powered smartphone will be available through all the major retailers in selected ME regions starting with UAE at an estimated end user pricing of $654.
Although it lacks a hi-res screen (it’s QVGA only), the HTC Touch Cruise is still one of the top 10 WinMo-powered smartphones available on the market, sporting such things as 3.2 megapixel camera, enough RAM and ROM (256/512 MB), WiFi, GPS, microSD memory card slot. Windows Mobile 6.1 along with TouchFLO 3D is running the show.
As a part of the launch, HTC has conducted training activities to provide product knowledge and educate channel partners, retailers and promoters about the Touch Cruise. The training roadshow was conducted across various cities including Dubai in UAE and Al Khobar, Jeddah and Riyadh in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
