Monsters vs. Aliens movie promo application hits the AppStore

One of the leading Hollywood’s online marketing agencies, AvatarLabs, recently announced the U.S. launch of the “Monsters vs. Aliens” iPhone application to promote the upcoming DreamWorks’ cartoon.

Two version of the application are available: one free (Lite) which contains all the film information, videos (trailers), images and movie times at nearby theaters, as well as an interactive sneak peek of one of the film’s Monsters: B.O.B.; and the full app (costs $1.99), which features everything the free version has plus a soundboard with over 30 B.O.B. Blurbs, more ways to play with B.O.B. and the so called Containment Center-tainment featuring “B.O.B. Says” and “Monster Match” as well as 4 levels of B.O.B.’s favorite game: “52 Pickup.”

Unsurprisingly, both apps take advantage of iPhone’s multi-touch capability and the built-in accelerometer, and both are already available for download through AppStore…
