S60 looking forwardAs part of the strategy to move Symbian OS and S60 software assets into a unified platform of Symbian Foundation, the S60.com website will be closed down gradually by the end of June 2009.

The blogs that were important part of the site and that were used to communicate with the S60 community, however, will still stay under blogs.s60.com for some time. In the meantime, users are advised to subscribe to the Symbian Foundation blog, which offers the latest information on the platform.

It’s kinda sad to see S60.com going under. I used to visit it on a daily basis to keep up with the latest and greatest in S60. I guess that’s a natural way of the platform evolution process and in that sense I can’t wait to see the first tangible results (i.e. devices) of the upcoming Symbian Foundation platform. Stay tuned…
