"We
shipped one million mobile handsets globally last year and we expect this number
to touch four billion by 2010." – Nokia Senior Vice President, Entry Business Unit, Soren Petersen
The Inquirer proves it is a typo:
1.02 billion cell phone units were sold in 2006 with unit growth of between 10-15 per cent expected in 2007.
Quadruple in less than 4 years? Who wants to take bets?
I simply do not think this is going to happen.
