UIQ Technology partners with Discretix

UIQ Technology today announced a partnership with Discretix Inc., the leading provider of embedded security solutions for mobile devices. Discretix’s multi-scheme DRM client will be available on the UIQ platform, providing support for OMA DRM v2.0, Microsoft WM-DRM 10 and CPRM.

The latest version of the UIQ platform, UIQ 3, opens up the possibility to create a highly diversified portfolio of phones, based on a single codeline. Pre-integrated partner applications on the UIQ platform, significantly accelerates the development of new mobile phones.

The Discretix multi-scheme DRM client offers unparalleled flexibility in meeting the evolving needs of mobile operators. Reinforced by the Discretix underlying security
sub-system, the client features an outstanding level of security and high performance, conforming to the stringent security requirements set down by mobile operators.
