HTC Cavalier

How many of you T-mobile Dash (HTC Excalibur) owners love your phone but just wish you had some of that high-speed, 3G goodness? Well, HTC’s got your back. The HTC Cavalier comes to us as the successor to the HTC Excalibur (which is the T-mobile Dash that you guys love so much) and rocks a 3G radio that works on US-friendly frequencies. And, the FCC has just green-lighted the HTC Cavalier for release in the US. With the FCC’s approval, this GSM phone is likely to hit US shores, getting you you’re 3G fix, sometime soon.

As is par for the course with these FCC glimpses, they’ve kept availability and pricing information on lockdown. We also have no confirmation (there are a lot of unknowns) on a possible carrier for the HTC Cavalier, but seeing as how it’s a GSM phone, we’re looking at AT&T to launch this thing. And, we’re expecting the HTC Cavalier to complement that awesome 3G data with some beautiful Windows Mobile 6.0 action.
