HTC never rests on laurels that they may or may not think are good enough at any given time, and HTC Sense is no exception. The smartphone maker’s Sense UI creates a custom homescreen that replaces the vanilla Android homescreen with all kinds of widgets that put important information at your fingertips. With the unveiling of the HTC Legend and Desire, HTC also showed off their latest iteration of the Sense UI.

The new homescreen overlay now features a FriendStream social network widget, a more robust news feed widget, in-line dictionary and translation services, and a new multitouch pinch feature called “Leap” that makes it easy to switch between homescreen panes.
