CECT CK898 – Chinese phone with a twist

CECT CK898

With so many interesting phones coming from China lately, we’ll soon have to open a new category for them. In the meantime, check out the CECT’s latest model called CK898. This interesting slider device also packs a camera that can be twisted around the top part of the phone for taking photos. Previously we saw the similar mechanism implemented in Nokia 3250 and 5700 handsets, but this is the first time a Chinese manufacturer goes for that kind of a form factor — to be fair I’m not aware ANY other handset maker beside Nokia is using this kind of design for any of their devices.

Unfortunately, we don’t have any information about the CK898’s specs, except that it is made of aluminium with a brushed metal appearance. Few more photos after the jump…
