While I was awakening from my deep slumber this morning, I reached over, grabbed the ‘ol iPhone and started looking through my Twitter feed. Sure enough, much earlier this morning the Apple Store was down. It was clear what was going on… Whenever the store goes down, it’s a sign Apple is busy integrating a new product into the lineup! Don’t ask me why they have to take the store down to do this, but it seems to be a habit.
At any rate, I digress… Sure enough, an hour or so after noticing the store was indeed down, the iPad has made its debut on the Apple Store, available for pre-order right now for US customers only.
The pricing again? You’re looking at the following price points:
WiFi Models:
- 16GB – $499.00
- 32GB – $599.00
- 64GB – $699.00
WiFi + 3G Models:
- 16GB – $629.00
- 32GB – $729.00
- 64GB – $829.00
The WiFi versions are shipping for April 3rd, while the WiFi + 3G models are shipping later in the month.
