Samsung’s low-end all-touchscreen S5620 Monte is coming to India. The device which we’ve seen back in February is touted to have one of the best features/price ratio and is made for those people who really dig the idea of a large touchscreen phone.
To grab the S5620 Monte, interested folks will have to pour out Rs. 8,850. That money buys them a 3-inch WQVGA touchscreen, 3G data (along with quad-band GSM connectivity), WiFi, GPS, Bluetooth, FM radio with RDS, 3.2-megapixel camera, standard 3.5mm headset jack and a microSD memory card slot. Samsung’s very own TouchWIZ 2.0 UI is used for all the interaction, providing users with a quick access to phone’s key functions as well as social networking apps.
In addition to Monte, the Korean company is also offering few of their Corby phones in India, which (in case you’ve been living under the rock) is the world’s fastest growing mobile phone market.
