Colorware supports iPad, too

Colorware is well known to provide its color-customizing services for Apple’s products, so why would the iPad be any different. It isn’t and yap they are allowing iPad owners to further differentiate themselves by having their beloved tablet colored the way they want to.

There are quite a few colors to choose from and you can customize the iPad’s back plate, logo and home button. As that was the case with some other Colorware products (which don’t require contract with a carrier), you can either grab the new device right from Colorware or send-in your existing device for customization.

New custom colored devices are shipping in about three weeks and sell for $910-$1110, depending on the iPad version selected (16, 32 or 64 GB). The send-in service, on the other hand, costs $410, and also takes about three weeks once the iPad is received by the company.

The question is — are you ready to pay an additional $400 premium to have a truly unique iPad? Comments form is all yours…
