Batelco Connect service launched in Bahrain

Batelco (Bahrain Telecommunications Company) has launched a new service, Batelco Connect, to offer various content for its users.

Batelco ConnectIn the first phase, Batelco Connect will only work on the Nokia Symbian smartphones, allowing the users to receive regular updates of the weather, prayer time and news flashes and more free of charge.

In addition, users have the opportunity to browse and preview the various types of content, such as cinema guide, ringtones, wallpaper, videos and screensavers which are offered by Batelco’s mobile portal “aywah” prior to making a purchase. The service is continually updated with new content and is available for both postpaid and prepaid customers.

Before installing Batelco Connect, users must be subscribed to the GPRS service and should make sure the setting for Batelco Wap is available on their phone.
