Contact UsWell, um… I guess… Okay, I’m not really entirely sure how to critique HTC’s new ad for the HTC One. It aims to be 3 minutes and 48 seconds of the show Bachelorette but instead of choosing a man, the woman is trying to choose a phone. In the end, that phone is obviously the One. Ha — I guess you could say it’s the One for her. Puns are always a great addition to any news article. Anyway, all the other phones are humans dressed up in crappy costumes. She … Read more

It looks like HTC is set to bring a variant of the recently announced First to the world. The device itself will not have Facebook Home pre-installed, but Sense 5.0, and will offer up the Ultrapixel camera. This wouldn’t be the first time that we’ve come across the HTC M4 before, as the codename for the device popped up in February. Most of the specifications still fall in line with what we saw before, with the exception of the cameras (13MP vs Ultrapixel). That said, when we first caught a … Read more
We know that AT&T will sell the HTC First in the U.S. and in Europe, Orange and EE will get that benefit. We’re not sure whether Orange will bring the Facebook phone to all of its markets across the continent, but we do know bits of EE’s plans for the UK. Unfortunately those “bits” don’t include the release date and price, but it’s fair to guess the phone will be offered for free to anyone willing to put his/her signature on a two-year contract. In addition, HTC First customers with … Read more

The pre-ordered AT&T devices will be shipped on April 16th, and will be making their way into retail stores on April 19th. In a Q&A session after Zuckerburg’s announcement, Facebook Home compatible devices were revealed and include the HTC First, HTC One, HTC One X, HTC One X+, Samsung Galaxy S3, Galaxy S4, Galaxy Note II. It is still unclear if Facebook will be developing a version of Facebook Home for Gingerbread devices. So, why is Facebook Home only available on powerful devices when the HTC … Read more

Soon after the US launch, HTC will start selling its how-new HTC One in Canada, with TELUS and Rogers committing to offer what many consider the most desirable smartphone ever made. Both carriers will launch the One on April 19th and I guess pre-orders will start any day now. Rogers Wireless said it will offer HTC’s baby with 32GB of built-in storage for $149.99 on a way-too-long three-year contract and we assume TELUS’ price will be the same. Again, the HTC One packs a 4.7-inch full HD screen, super-fancy camera … Read more
By now, you probably already know that Facebook will be announcing a brand new, HTC-Made phone tomorrow. You probably also know that the handset’s defining feature is within the software and Facebook has given Android a face lift. Well, a few shots of the new UI have leaked out, and it’s not much to write home about. Or “like.” The screens we see of the new UI aren’t a terribly dramatic departure from the Android we know today. There’s a minimalism to the screens we see above, which is easy … Read more
