According to Symbian-Guru, Finish giant is preparing to launch the E65 in more colors. I guess the original gray and red colors are just not enough for some people — after all it’s (not) important to match your phone color with your clothing. :)

Anyway, the thing I like about the E65 is in its non-geek look. The details like the leather back of the E65 are always a plus, as they make smartphones appealing to the regular feature phone users. Unfortunately, the E65 in pink and plum will be available only in Europe, though you can always import them…

What’s with the all “Hello Kitty” fuzz? I just don’t get it. Guess our readers across Asia know more about it…

Fake Nokia ESeries Hello Kitty phones

Anyway, some designer/Photoshop master decided to add some “Hello Kitty” look to the Nokia (NYSE: NOK) ESeries devices. Ok, I get the pink E65 — it could be one of those girl’s best friends, but pink E61i or E90 Communicator? Seems nuts! Or that’s just me… What do you say?

Over at S60 Blogs, MRKTNGman posted a funny video of Nokia (NYSE: NOK) E90 dancing. Yes it is a bulky device, and has everything a smartphone can have, including GPS, HSDPA, WLAN, camera, full QWERTY keyboard and much more. But from now on, the E90 is not just a smartphone queen — it’s also a dancing queen! :)

And now something for the total geeks interested in buying the Nokia E61i. Over at Flickr, I came across the Nokia (NYSE: NOK) E61i taken apart gallery. Anyone interested to know how this business baby looks like naked, should point the browser here. I admit – I’m a geek, I love these photos. I wouldn’t do this to my phone — it’s safer this way.

Nokia E90 is about to hit the market and now we know it will be the first smartphone to support BlackBerry (NSDQ: RIMM) Connect 4.0. Latest version of BlackBerry Connect adds the ability to generate an encryption key wirelessly, wireless activation of a device in the enterprise, AES in addition to Triple Data Encryption Standard (DES), and the ability to erase and disable a BlackBerry-enabled device. One more reason for switching to Symbian… (via: E-Series blog)

Nokia E70 new firmware available; Reaches version 3

By Dusan Belic on Thursday, May 3rd, 2007 at 6:38 AM PST
In Devices, ESeries, Nokia, Symbian

Nokia (NYSE: NOK) has released what seems like the major version update for its ESeries’ E70 smartphone. Besides fixing the known bugs and issues and software updates, the firmware version 3.0633.09.04 will also bring better VoIP support. Change log is still unavailable, yet the jump in version number (previous firmware was version 2 point something) promises lot of changes. As usual, it is suggested to keep your device fresh with the latest firmware version — you can update your device via Nokia Software Updater service, or with the latest Nokia PC Suite which has the integrated firmware updater. Looking for the ultimate business device? Not sure whether you want to go Symbian or Windows Mobile? The answer is here.

Nokia E90 vs HTC Advantage

AllAboutSymbian has confronted two high-end devices, Nokia (NYSE: NOK) E90 Communicator and HTC Advantage, both of them offering a wide array of business features. According to their tests Nokia E90 outperformed its Windows Mobile counterpart. Why? Because it’s much better as a phone and is quite smaller. Still, the HTC Advantage has its strengths like capacity and Outlook integration. Here’s the link to the full article.

Nokia (NYSE: NOK) is pushing the E65 as a stylish enterprise device. It’s a leather coated Symbian OS S60-based device that packs all the features of the powerful smartphone, including the built-in WiFi, in the cool-looking slider form factor.

Assembling and disassembling the Nokia E65

Now you can see just how stylish (or not) this device ACTUALLY is from the inside out. Stefan from RingNokia found some photos of assembling and disassembling the Nokia E65. Kind a geekish, but what the hack. I’m certain many of you guys and gals want to know how smartphones are made…

Find out when Nokia E61i is available

By Dusan Belic on Tuesday, March 13th, 2007 at 5:47 AM PST
In Devices, ESeries, Nokia, Symbian

Nokia E61iAt the 3GSM, Nokia (NYSE: NOK) announced the successor of its popular business device E61 – E61i. The new, improved version brings several enhancements, including the different order of the buttons, and a 2 MP camera. Next, the E61i replaces the (annoying) joystick with much easier to use 5-way navigation button.

Apart from the mentioned, the E61i is basically the same as E61, and brings integrated WLAN, Bluetooth, P2T, SIP, the famous S60 web browser, support for all popular push-email solutions and more.

Excluding the new Communicator, my guess is this was one of the Nokia’s models that generated most of the interest in Barcelona. So, it’s no wonder that Nokia prepared a special page to inform the interested parties when will the E61i be available.
