Tips & Warnings
- Be sure to have a text messaging plan or else you may be charged high rates for sending text messages. Refer to your carrier for rates.
- Tap the Messages icon.

Enter the name or number (if the person is not yet in your contact list) of the person you want to text in the To: field. You can also tap the + to see your contact list.

Tap the Message field and use the keypad to enter text.
- Once you have completed your message tap the Send button.
- You're done. Your text message has been sent to the recipient.
