Free cell phone service is coming to the kid near you — that’s if you live in the UK. Blyk is launching a free cell phone service for kids ranging from 16-24 years old, who accept to receive ads in exchange. Already on board to annoy the kids are companies like Coca-Cola, L’Oreal and Buena Vista.
The way I see it it’s good way for teenagers to get their bills paid. They are probably exposed to tons of advertising anyway — so why not get free calls then? (via: Gizmodo)
