As expected, Verizon Wireless has just announced four new handsets for their holiday lineup. We were looking for Verizon to drop the Samsung Juke, BlackBerry Pearl, LG Venus, and LG Voyager on us soon, and the wait is over.

It looks like RIM’s recently announced BlackBerry  8130 Pearl 2.0 is going to Verizon Wireless. The new CDMA-based BlackBerry Pearl is updated to 2.0-status with a 2 megapixel camera, updated software, and integrated GPS – that’s right, GPS on the Pearl!

The Samsung Juke will be pulling musicphone duty with that interesting swivel form-factor and 2GB of onboard storage. Expect to get your swivel-on in red, blue, and teal.

LG’s VX8800 Venus and VX10000 Voyager will be spicing up Verizon’s lineup with some slick, touchscreen action. The LG Venus is a dual-screen slider with haptic feedback (vibrating touchscreen), 2 megapixel camera, and A2DP Bluetooth. Bigger brother LG Voyager comes packing the big guns – like a huge external touchscreen and internal display with a vertical clamshell setup that reveals a full QWERTY keyboard. As the successor to Verizon’s LG VX9900, the LG Voyager will sport a full-HTML browser and stereo speakers.

Look for these handsets to be available through the next month. Pricing information is not yet available.

Good luck with them holiday sales numbers, Verizon. We hear that Apple and HTC are gunning for the top spot in that game.
