Virgin Mobile USA introduces Roll Forward minutes and unlimited nights weekendsVirgin Mobile USA is poised to break further into the US wireless market. Following Virgin Mobile’s dismal financial performance recently, Virgin Mobile UK launched their  “Liberty SIM” pre-paid calling plan. And, now Virgin Mobile USA is taking another crack at pre-paid offerings in the US.

The new pre-paid offerings from Virgin Mobile USA are made that much more attractive with the launch of Roll Forward Minutes. Pay As You Go customers now have the option to  carry over up to 5,000 unused wireless minutes to the next Minute Pack purchase, as long as the new purchase takes place within 30 days of the previous purchase.

Customers opting for Virgin Mobile USA’s monthly pre-paid plans can now take advantage of night/weekend minutes that start at 7pm. The recurring monthly pre-paid plan offers post-paid plan pricing combined with pre-paid flexibility. An Unlimited Night and Weekends plan is available for $49.99 per month – which opens the airwaves to unlimited talking after 7pm and on weekends. And, on top of discounted Messaging Packs, Virgin Mobile USA is offerings its recurring monthly pre-paid customers the option of adding unlimited messaging (which includes email, text/picture messaging/ and IM) for an extra $10 per month.

Virgin Mobile USA is looking more and more attractive everyday. At least as an MVNO – we can’t say the same as a financial investment.
