The original Aliph Jawbone took the Bluetooth headset market by storm with their military grade noise cancellation and bone-conduction technology. I can personally attest to the Aliph Jawbone’s incredible ability to cut through a room full of noise and deliver crisp, clear audio on both ends of the conversation. But, there’s a downside – the Aliph Jawbone is one hefty sucker and announces to the world that you’re wearing a geeky Bluetooth headset on your face.
So, I was pleasantly surprised to see the Aliph Jawbone 2 surface at the FCC website. The successor to the uber popular Jawbone boasts a diamond-beveled finish and, most importantly, cuts out some fat. The new Jawbone 2 also sports a revised charging connector that should take care of some reliability issues, and should hit the market at a price-point close to the original Jawbone’s retail price.
