With the summer wireless-hardware-blockbuster set to give eager mobile enthusiasts a new wave of high-end smartphones to drool over, we’ve got the latest launch date details on the much-anticipated (for some, anyway) Palm Treo 800w on Sprint.
An alleged inventory sheet has been posted up on HowardForums, indicating that the Sprint Palm Treo 800w will drop on July 13, not July 22, as we had previously heard. And, Sprint’s enterprise customers can expect to get their hands on the new hotness from Palm starting July 9.
Of course, Sprint’s July 13 launch date for the Palm Treo 800w could very well be pushed back or bumped up in the next few weeks, so don’t take this latest news as truth. But, it might do you well to starting saving some coin. The Palm Treo 800w will run $249.99 with 2-year contract and after rebates, or $599.99 to own the handset outright.
We can’t wait to see the Palm Treo 800w finally hit market, with its Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional-powered GPS, WiFi (with dedicated toggle switch), and EVDO Rev. A bits in tow.
On that note, by show of e-hands, how many of you readers are planning to scoop up a Palm Treo 800w from Sprint?
