Sling Media has been working on bringing TV viewing to BlackBerry via their Slingbox home console for at least a year or so, and now their public beta will be available real soon!
SlingPlayer Mobile for BlackBerry has been announced and will be available for the Bold, Curve 8320/8900, Pearl 8120/8220 and 8820 on December 30th. If you’ve ever wanted to watch TV directly on your BlackBerry, then this is the ultimate solution. Come to think of it though, I don’t think I’ve ever wanted to watch TV on my device. The occasional YouTube vid has sufficed for me in the past… But hey, I can see how this would be insanely appealing to the mass mobile community. I’m sure that I’m the minority here.
The video above will give you an in-depth look at SlingPlayer mobile for BlackBerry.
