Just when we talked about SEVEN and their “Android move,” another mobile messaging company announced the same offering. It’s VISTO with its Visto Mobile 6 that now support Google’s mobile OS platform.
Those not familiar should know that Visto Mobile enables users to take their email, contacts and contacts with them, no matter where they happen to be. This includes support for multiple services including sending and receiving messages from work and personal email and social networking accounts, each with its own inbox, with full attachment handling. Among the supported services are the world’s most popular webmail providers like GMail, Yahoo! Mail, MSN/Hotmail. In addition, Visto can also sing along “popular among the corporates” – Microsoft Exchange.
Finally, aside from working with Android, Visto also supports other platforms, including Windows Mobile, Symbian, Palm OS, Java, and iPhone.
