Far be it for us to bad-mouth HTC’s TouchFLO 3D UI. In fact, we think TouchFLO 3D (TF3D) is the best thing to happen to Windows Mobile in a long time. There’s nothing better at covering up Windows Mobile’s design downfalls than TouchFLO 3D. That is, until you need to switch between applications or close an application in the background.
Enter TaskFacade 4.
TaskFacade4 promises to replace the Windows Mobile Start Menu with a powerful graphical task manager to handle all your task switching needs.
TaskFacade 4 displays all your active tasks as “panels,” allowing you to switch between Windows Mobile applications with a press of a button and a tap of the finger. Each task “panel” displays a preview of its application as well as the title of the application, making it fast and easy to identify and switch between tasks. The TaskFacade 4 interface is skinnable (bundled with 5 different skins) and works equally well with finger inputs or keyboard button inputs.
