RIM is planning to add somewhere around 200 jobs in the Atlanta area, according to a report over at the Atlanta Business Chronicle. The plans include the opening of a data center, to be one of the largest of its type in the region. By the sounds of things RIM is making good progress with the expansion, as they’ve already found a perfect 40-acre site near the North Point Mall in Alpharetta.
If you’re in the Atlanta area and would love to work for the BlackBerry maker, RIM is looking to hire technical talent to help develop next-gen devices…and pay out an average salary of $70,000. Noice. New jobs, new BlackBerry devices… it’s all good.
