hold-buttonAnyone tracking their pre-ordered iPhone 3G S from China is probably already aware that their packages have already found their way Stateside. If not, consider this your notice. Unfortunately, those packages aren’t going anywhere for the time being.

The latest update on iPhone 3G S shipments confirms that there are likely warehouses full of iPhone 3G S’s waiting to be shipped to their final destination. From what we can gather, Apple has requested that the iPhone 3G S shipments be put on hold for delivery on a “future delivery date.”

As for when the shipments will be rescheduled to be delivered, it’s anyone’s guess. June 19th, perhaps?
