Last we heard, the BlackBerry Storm 2 was hitting Verizon in October. That’s really all we have had to go on. Vague at best, but the details of such releases always get clearer as a potential date approaches…. and, of course, this instance is no different than the others. I noticed this morning that a new set of internal Verizon docs are making their way around our groovy little blogosphere, and they’re showing off a much more accurate release date. If the docs are to be believed, then you can look forward to a BlackBerry Storm 2 (9550) on Verizon starting on the 29th of September for business customers. Also, the device will rear it’s touchscreeny-goodness in Verizon stores on the 14th of October (for general consumption).

Of course, no pricing details are available at this point… But this is the latest. Believe it or not, I’m still chalking it up to rumor until I get more confirmation.

Note: If you squint your eyes just a bit, you’ll probably be able to make out a few other details. Motorola Sholes, BlackBerry Tour, LG ‘Chocolate Touch’… Hmmmm, interesting 🙂
