If you’ve been ‘off the grid’ for the past few days (like myself… oh, what a nice break!), you may have missed some pretty darn big news coming out of the Google (NSDQ: GOOG)/Android world. News that involves a new device dubbed the ‘Nexus One‘.

I’m not going to get into the details of the Nexus One here… So if you haven’t heard about it, read our coverage here, here and here. All I want to do is post some late night goodness in the form of a boot animation. A boot animation so scrumptulescent it would make James Lipton shudder in excitement.

I kid. But it’s late, and I’ve been on the road all day. Give me a break would ya? 😛 Check out the Nexus One Boot Animation below:

The Nexus One is rumored to be hitting us in early January (the 5th) on T-Mobile (NYSE: DT) for $199…. And oh yeah, Google may be selling the darn thing direct from their homepage as well, unlocked, and ready to rock and/or roll (buy direct from Google, and you find your own cellular service).

Stay tuned for more killer coverage of the Nexus One, as it happens, here at IntoMobile.
