For some reason, I feel perfectly fine posting on vibrator applications and adult app store, yet bringing up the recently-released Playgirl Centerfold for iPhone goes right against my “don’t feed the cougars” instinct. Still, some girls (and guys, for that matter) just need their clean-shaven dudes in jeans/tighty whities/fireman suits, and who are we to deprive them? At first glance, Centerfold looks like a straightforward way to bait the lusty with pictures of 50 models, then ping them with in-app purchases for more, but there’s actually a surprising number of features packed in here. Playgirl Centerfold includes a porn star name generator, access to their blog, iPod music library access (for when you need some chippendale music), screen savers, custom Playgirl covers, push notifications, favourites and ratings. I doubt there’s any dudejunk proper in the app, considering Apple’s stance on adult or lewd content, but it should still provide plenty of eye candy for the discriminating connaiseur.
