Whilst the rest of the tech news world is going mad about the iSlate (or not, as the case may be), we can take a look at another tablet that IS real. Pictured above is the ‘Cloud Device’ (ooh, catchy), by NEC Biglobe.
It should be with us in Q1/Q2, and comes with these specs:
- touch sensitive 7-inch LCD panel (800×480 pixel, made by Camangi Taiwan)
- dimension: 200 x 120 x 14.5 mm, weight: 380 grams
- Wi-Fi capability
Granted, we need more info, like what Android version it’s running – however, it could be coming in somewhere around $300-350 – which is sure to be cheaper than Apples effort, if indeed something does arrive.
Only problem I can see is that it will have Japanese language support – fine for the people in Japan, not super-great for the rest of us that aren’t fluent in Japanese!
