Sirius XM Radio Coming to BlackBerry

BlackBerry-Sirius

Audiophiles out there will be familiar with the Sirius XM Radio service, which offers over 120 stations of just about every description genre. Sirius has already dipped their toes into the mobile pool with an iPhone app, but a little birdie has let loose than an application for the BlackBerry Storm 9530, Storm2 9550, Bold 9000 and 9700, Tour 9630, and Curve 8900, 8520, and 8530 will become available to all premium subscribers. This pic is just a mock-up using the iPhone app as a basis, but still gives a good idea of what to expect.

I actually had to look into this a few weeks ago when my dad was trying to get Sirius on his new BlackBerry after enjoying it on the iPod Touch. Third party apps were able to plug into the service for awhile, but after a few changes to how the streams were set up, BlackBerry apps were cut off. For those who have been itching to get their Sirius rolling again, the app should be available sometime this month.
