A company called zoomMediaPlus unveiled an interesting app-supported accessory for the iPhone and iPod Touch called zoomIt, enabling users to transfer files from an SD card to their beloved devices. The process is done without starting iTunes on a computer, and supported files include photos, music, videos and documents (.PPT, .XLS, .DOC, .PDF, etc.)
In other words, users can simply put a memory card in the zoomIt accessory, and transfer and share their media files and documents via email, Facebook, Flickr and other services. Or, they can just copy some of the files to the local iPhone memory.
In addition to the list of files mentioned above, zoomIt plans to expand the list with support for streaming of licensed music, videos, and other forms of protected content.
As for the pricing and availability, zoomIt will start selling in April this year when interested users will be able to grab it for $59.95.
