BlackBerry Slider Caught on Camera Again

It’s more than likely that the last batch of BlackBerry slider pictures left you unsatisfied, so here’s a fresh serving, showing the device side-by-side with the BlackBerry Curve 8900,and the rear, complete with the door off. Sure, it puts on a few millimeters for being in two parts, but as you can see, the difference in size versus existing BlackBerrys is negligible.

We still aren’t sure what family this device would fall under, although it’s likely not a Storm, but we do know it will have Wi-Fi 802.11n, and a 360 x 480 display. I’m glad to see RIM continuing to experiment with new form factors, despite the mixed performance of both the Storm and the Pearl Flip – a sea of standard, full QWERTY-keyboard candybars does the brand no favours in terms of building distinctive, characterful products. We’ll have to hold out for other details, such as the quality of the slide mechanism, operating system, and camera (anything up from 3.2 megapixels would be nice). What do you guys think, is this thing looking any better than it did before?
