Gentlemen’s Quarterly (GQ) isn’t the first publication that comes to mind when you think hard about hard hitting investigative journalism, but Christopher Ketcham, with support from the Investigative Fund at The Nation Institute, wrote up close to 4500 words about mobile phone radiation that goes through the entire history of the topic; from how it was discovered, to the trials that proved it was true, the trials that proved it was false, and the current state we’re in right now with regards to legislation mandating that certain safety levels be met.
It’s so well written that once you’re done with the piece you’ll probably want to flush your mobile down the toilet and steal the largest sports utility vehicle you can find, just so you can mow down some cell towers.
