Trip-planning service NileGuide is “going iPhone” with a dedicated application called “What’s Next,” offering information about top global destinations with in-depth content. The app gets its content from more than 30 sources, covering over 200 destinations. According to NileGuide, that’s more coverage than any other location-based travel planning app in the AppStore.

In terms of features, there’s a good ol’ “Near Me” function for nearby activities, restaurants, nightlife, hotels and more. If location is not the only thing you care about, you can also refine results by filtering with preferences such as “romantic,” “business” or “off the beaten path.” Alternatively, you can search based on activity type such as museums, spas or golf courses. In addition, for those who like to plan further in advance, there’s a “Where To” button for building an itinerary before arriving.

Finally the price – it’s $2.99 and it’s actually a bargain considering “What’s Next” packs tons of destinations in a single application. AppStore link is below…
