By now, you’ve probably seen all kinds of iPhone cases, but not something like this. The product is called iTiki, and it’s actually a “South Pacific deity from the north shore of Oahu, Hawaii, who protects iPhones from enemies.”
You’ve read that correctly – it’s not just a case but a m/f deity! 🙂 (Hopefully, I haven’t harmed anyone’s feelings with that sentence).
According to TikiCase.com, which sells these cases, iTiki is the “silicone incarnation of the same spirit who, according to legend, created the first woman. When he got thirsty, he invented really tasty rum drinks. Now the iTiki wants to protect your iPhone.”
The pitch is crazy and they even say iTiki may be life-changing.
I don’t buy it, but if you do – you should know that iTiki is available in two colors – Pacific (the cool blue of the ocean) and Koa (the warmth of Hawaiian wood).
Each case/deity costs $29.97 and it makes a great gift… or does it – you be the judge.
